WALT: Write a cinquin poem. Today we had to collect a leaf and use the leaf to create a picture. Then we had to write a poem about what we turned the leaf into. Hover over my bullet point to read my poem.

Soldier-Moment in Time

WALT: Use adjectives (describing words) to make our writing interesting to the reader.
We pretended we were a soldier in the war, using our senses to describe what it was like.

I saw...Big machine guns shooting at soldiers and I saw blood flying
I heard...loud gas sound every where
I felt...blood dripping down me
I wondered...if New Zealand would win the war.

Phew...I'm tired

I am running as fast as a cheetah around the school field. I really wanted to stop but just kept on going. I run out of the door to get ready for training for Cross country. The Boys asked Cloe if  they could do push  ups, Cloe said yes . I did ten push ups. Room 9 is running around the Vardon school field fast. When I stepped on the wet grass it felt cold like ice.I was exhausted  because I did two laps with out stopping.  I got to the tree and flopped to the ground. Whaea Nikki asked if I was tired I said yes! I felt proud because I did two laps.

A Moment in Time-Tabloids

I saw parents watching their kids.

I heard the siren like a police car when time it to was change.

I felt happy I hit the wickets.

I wondered what game is next.
